The UN Global Compact takes the lead in turning these goals into drivers for sustainable business. Economic and social benefits, as well as the environmental benefits are priorities for the entire world.
In September 2015, all 193 member countries of the United Nations adopted a plan to create a better future for all, setting the path for the next 15 years with goal to extreme poverty, inequality, injustice, and protect our planet. The Sustainable Development Goals are the foundation of the ‘Agenda 2030’ and are easily applicable into the local contexts of communities.
